Full job description

Sourced directly from oxylabs's original listing.

We’re a team of 500+ professionals who develop cutting-edge web data gathering solutions for thousands of the world’s best known businesses, including Fortune 500 companies.

What’s in store for you:

You’ll be solving challenges for top-tier clients and collaborating with industry professionals. We’ll fuel your professional growth with vast internal and external learning resources and an environment of teaming up and knowledge sharing.

About the Role:

  • AI is reshaping how B2B buyers discover, evaluate, and shortlist vendors - and Oxylabs is moving fast to stay ahead of that shift. We're looking for a GEO Specialist to help grow our visibility across generative and agentic search environments - focusing on execution and measurement, with room to take on more over time.
  • This is a hands-on role where you'll help shape where we show up - across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, Gemini, and emerging agentic pipelines - and drive the work that gets us there.
  • You'll sit within the SEO & Growth Marketing function and work closely with the Head of SEO, content, and technical teams.
  • SEO fluency is expected - you understand organic search and how it connects to AI discoverability - but your primary lens is the AI layer: LLM citations, agent-readiness, entity authority, and structured content that machines can parse, trust, and surface.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Help shape and execute Oxylabs' GEO/AEO strategy across major LLMs and generative search engines.
  • Drive initiatives to increase citation frequency, share of voice, and brand presence in AI-generated responses for our core categories (proxies, web scraping, data collection).
  • Help build and maintain an AI visibility measurement framework - tracking citation rate, mention frequency, sentiment across mainstream chatbots.
  • Audit and evolve our content architecture for AI extractability.
  • Partner with SEO and Content teams, provide recommendations on how to ensuring every new piece is built to be cited, not just ranked.
  • Stay ahead of the agentic search curve - monitor how AI agents surface and act on web content.
  • Help to define what "agent-ready" looks like for Oxylabs' website and content ecosystem.
  • Work on opportunities in collaboration with affiliate, influencers and growth marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with Web and Product teams to ensure our site's technical foundations (crawlability, structured data, API accessibility, page speed) support machine discovery - not just human discovery.

Your skills & experience:

  • At least a year of experience in On-site SEO - with demonstrated interest in, or some early hands-on exposure to, GEO/AI search.
  • Solid understanding of how large language models work.
  • Experience optimizing for AEO.
  • Strong content instincts - able to help brief, edit, and quality-control content with an AI-discoverability lens.
  • Comfortable working with tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs/Semrush, Screaming Frog, and/or any GEO monitoring tools.

Nice to have:

  • Background in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience with technical SEO.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI workflows and how agents consume and act on web content.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Gross salary: 2000-3700 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies
  • Growth & Learning: 40+ internal learning options, external conferences, mentorship, and year-round knowledge-sharing
  • Health & Well-being: Private health insurance, psychotherapy, on-site well-being consultants, 24/7 gym access, and a wellness app
  • Celebration & Community: Team events, an overseas workation, quarterly team-building budgets, and plenty of ways to mark milestones together
  • Plus bonus vacation days, paid life-moment days off, barista coffee, and all the tools you need. See the full list of benefits here: https://career.oxylabs.io/blog/our-work-benefits/

AI Replacement Risk, explained

We rate every role on how much of the day-to-day work could plausibly be done by current AI tools within the next year or two. It's a judgment call, not a hard science, based on three questions:

Task repeatability — is the work mostly repeatable execution (drafting, formatting, routine audits), or judgment-heavy (strategy, negotiation, prioritization)?
Precedent — are AI tools already doing a meaningful chunk of this work well today, in production, somewhere?
Accountability — does the role carry a decision or relationship someone has to own, not just an output that has to exist?

LOW

Mostly judgment, negotiation, or ownership work. AI assists, it doesn't replace.

MED

A real mix of judgment and repeatable execution. Expect the repeatable half to keep shrinking.

HIGH

Mostly production or output work, with real AI precedent already in the wild.

This is our own read, not a scientific index. Treat it as a conversation starter before you apply, not a scorecard.
