Accountabilities

  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage small and medium-sized businesses that could benefit from local SEO services through cold calls, email campaigns, and social outreach.
  • Lead Qualification: Evaluate inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, service fit, revenue potential, and likelihood of conversion.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects' online visibility challenges, marketing objectives, and business goals, recommending relevant local SEO solutions.
  • Solution Presentation: Explain local SEO concepts, including Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, map pack rankings, and review management, in clear, persuasive, business-oriented language.
  • Proposals and Negotiations: Prepare tailored service proposals, communicate the value of recommended solutions, address objections, and guide prospects toward informed purchasing decisions.
  • Sales Follow-Up and Closing: Maintain consistent communication with prospects, manage sales conversations effectively, and convert qualified opportunities into customers.
  • CRM and Pipeline Management: Keep customer records, prospect interactions, communication history, sales activities, and follow-up schedules accurate and up to date.
  • Sales Performance Management: Work toward monthly revenue goals and sales quotas, monitor performance indicators, identify gaps, and adjust outreach strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Proactively communicate challenges, share pipeline updates, seek support when needed, and coordinate with relevant team members to advance opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Learn from successful and unsuccessful sales conversations, refine messaging, handle rejection professionally, and consistently improve prospecting and closing techniques.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in B2B or B2C sales, preferably in digital marketing services, SEO solutions, or recurring-revenue business models.
  • Working knowledge of local SEO concepts, including Google Business Profile, local citations, local search rankings, map pack visibility, and online review management.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with business owners.
  • Ability to translate technical digital marketing concepts into clear, compelling business benefits.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms for managing sales pipelines, tracking prospect interactions, and organizing follow-up activities.
  • Proven prospecting, lead qualification, consultative selling, objection-handling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize opportunities and manage a sales pipeline independently.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a demonstrated ability to monitor performance, take ownership of sales targets, and proactively address underperformance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity about small business challenges, and the ability to build trust through needs-based conversations rather than scripted pitches.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, manage daily priorities, and maintain productivity with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and availability to work during U.S. business hours while based in Brazil.

What will help you stand out:

  • Experience selling local SEO, digital advertising, website optimization, or other digital marketing services to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Familiarity with recurring-revenue sales models and customer acquisition strategies.
  • A proactive approach to sales forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance improvement.
  • Strong resilience, adaptability, and the ability to learn from feedback and continuously refine sales techniques.
  • Experience working in remote, international, or asynchronous teams.

Benefits:

  • Work model: Fully remote, allowing you to work from Brazil.
  • Employment type: Full-time position.
  • Schedule: U.S. business hours, providing alignment with the target market and customers.
  • Autonomy: Opportunity to manage your own prospecting activities, sales pipeline, and daily priorities.
  • Performance-driven environment: Clear sales targets and measurable goals that help you track your progress and results.
  • Professional development: Opportunities to strengthen consultative selling, negotiation, CRM management, and local SEO expertise.
  • Business impact: Direct contribution to helping small and medium-sized businesses improve their online visibility and attract local customers.

AI Replacement Risk, explained

We rate every role on how much of the day-to-day work could plausibly be done by current AI tools within the next year or two. It's a judgment call, not a hard science, based on three questions:

Task repeatability — is the work mostly repeatable execution (drafting, formatting, routine audits), or judgment-heavy (strategy, negotiation, prioritization)?
Precedent — are AI tools already doing a meaningful chunk of this work well today, in production, somewhere?
Accountability — does the role carry a decision or relationship someone has to own, not just an output that has to exist?

LOW

Mostly judgment, negotiation, or ownership work. AI assists, it doesn't replace.

MED

A real mix of judgment and repeatable execution. Expect the repeatable half to keep shrinking.

HIGH

Mostly production or output work, with real AI precedent already in the wild.

This is our own read, not a scientific index. Treat it as a conversation starter before you apply, not a scorecard.
