About the Role

As a Senior SEO Manager focused on high-value clients, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and driving organic search performance. Supporting a portfolio of Legal VIP clients, you will provide strategic oversight of SEO ranking plans, serve as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, and communicate directly with high-value clients. You will also provide strategic support to Account Managers, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. Your expertise will be essential in delivering measurable results, strengthening client relationships, and protecting and growing revenue through strategic upselling, contract renewals, and proactive retention efforts. By closely monitoring client performance metrics and industry trends, you will anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop strategies that drive results. You will also contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by staying ahead of SEO advancements and helping our client services remain competitive in an evolving digital landscape.

What Your Success Will Look Like

  • Provide specialized support for high-value clients, including direct communication, strategic oversight of ranking plans, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced SEO strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of high-value clients.
  • Contribute to the growth of product revenue by identifying and executing upselling opportunities within the high-value client portfolio.
  • Conduct pre-launch audits for new VIP clients to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and successful launch.
  • Analyze and create organic ranking goals, implementing tailored strategies to enhance visibility and drive targeted traffic for high-value clients.
  • Act as a senior-level resource, providing mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
  • 3+ years experience in high-value client-facing roles, within an SEO environment.
  • Strong understanding of organic ranking strategies and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and third-party SEO platforms.
  • Experience with upselling and revenue growth strategies is a plus.
  • Skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the capacity to oversee and optimize complex plans.

Compensation

We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.

  • The base salary range is $70,000 (entry-level) - $90,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
  • The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.

Work Location & Flexibility

Scorpion supports a range of work arrangements, including in-office, hybrid, and remote roles. For positions designated as remote, employees who live within commuting distance of a Scorpion office may be asked to work from the office based on team needs, collaboration opportunities, or business priorities. Specific expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
