VML

VML is a global marketing and communications agency formed in October 2023 when WPP merged VMLY&R with Wunderman Thompson. VMLY&R itself was created by WPP's 2018 merger of VML (founded 1992 in Kansas City) and Young & Rubicam (founded 1923 in Philadelphia, a pioneer of television advertising).

The combined agency employs roughly 13,000 people across more than 80 offices worldwide, with major hubs in Kansas City, New York, London, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore, and Sydney. Its client history includes long-running work for brands such as Burger King, Xerox, and Johnson & Johnson.
